In May 1964, several witnesses in New Mexico reported sightings of unidentified flying objects (UFOs). One of the most detailed accounts came from a man who described an object shaped like a gondola and another shaped like a diamond. The first object had four to five visible windows and emitted a light that appeared to shine straight down. A witness mentioned that the object had swept-back wings, similar to a jet. The second sighting included a bright central object with four smaller lights arranged in a diamond formation.
The report, though incomplete, indicated that the objects showed no noise, conventional lights, or characteristics of known aircraft. This raised doubts about their nature, as they did not match conventional earthly objects. Witnesses insisted they were not meteors or satellites, and their behavior was unusual. The official report concluded that the sightings had no clear explanation, reflecting the confusion and the need for further investigation.
