🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1964, an observer in the Atlantic reported a bright flying object moving from northwest to southeast at a medium altitude. The description did not include speed estimates or photographs, making precise identification difficult. Although several possibilities were considered, such as balloons, aircraft, or astronomical phenomena, the data was deemed insufficient for a conclusive evaluation. The report was distributed to multiple military and intelligence agencies, indicating official interest in the case.
The message, marked as "unclassified," was sent from the crew of the ship *President Jackson* and forwarded to several entities, including the CIA and DIA. Despite the lack of detailed information, the fact that it was recorded and widely shared suggests the incident was considered relevant at the time. To date, no satisfactory explanation has been found for this sighting.
