🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1964, an anonymous witness called Lockbourne Air Force Base to report a UFO. The witness refused to give their name, which immediately raised some doubts about the sighting's credibility. According to the report, the object was observed for 6 to 7 minutes and moved in a straight line toward the southeast, at an estimated altitude of between 3,000 and 4,000 feet. The curious thing was that it had no green lights, something typically expected on an aircraft. The object moved slower than a blimp and was seen by at least 100 to 150 people playing the BINGO lottery. Some witnesses compared it to car headlights and windows, but without green lights, which generated confusion about its identity.
Despite no photos or radar data being taken, the report notes there is no conclusive evidence ruling out that the object was an aircraft or satellite. The witness pointed out that the object didn't show the typical lights of an aircraft, suggesting it might be something unusual. The report also indicates that the testimony was secondhand, reducing its reliability. Nevertheless, the fact that so many people saw it at the same time generated significant interest in the area. The case was classified as "probably astronomical" or caused by an aircraft, but without a clear confirmation.
