🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1964, in Macon, Georgia, two night sightings of a bright object at high altitude were reported. A sheriff's department officer reported an object at around 30,000 feet, while a technician from Robins Air Force Base observed an object at 20,000 feet or higher traveling north to south. Although no photos or radar were used, both sightings coincided in time and location. Later, Robins Command suggested the objects might be KC-135 aircraft that had taken off at short intervals, though the reported sighting time seemed inconsistent with their departure schedule.
