🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1964, a police officer and a university student in East Lansing, Michigan, observed a bright object moving rapidly from east to west. The object, described as elliptical and as bright as Venus, suddenly disappeared without a trace. The detailed description and lack of conventional explanations raise questions about its nature. Although a meteor was considered, the speed and shape didn't fit typical patterns.
The official investigation concluded there was insufficient information to determine the object's origin. Other witnesses, including a pair of students who saw it from a bicycle, reported similar details, but no precise triangulation was achieved. The description of a white flash followed by an immediate disappearance adds mystery to the case. Despite limitations, multiple witnesses and consistent details suggest the phenomenon deserves further attention.
