🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1964, an observer in flight reported a bright blue object over the Pacific. The phenomenon was seen at high altitude, rapidly descending from 65 to 30 degrees above the horizon. Despite its extreme speed, investigators concluded it was likely a meteor. The description of the object as "much larger than a first magnitude star" adds intrigue to the case, although no photos were taken and the observation duration was not recorded.
