🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1964, in Chicago, Illinois, four observers reported the presence of two unidentified flying objects. The objects, described as round and larger than a plane, appeared as lights in the sky. They were observed five minutes apart, heading west, on a clear night. Although some possibilities, such as satellites or balloons, were ruled out, no information was presented to rule out aircraft. The official report concluded that the objects were likely aircraft.
The observation was recorded by the 928th Troop Carrier Group of the United States Air Force. The report includes details on the time, location, and description of the objects, but no photos or radar were used. Despite observers agreeing on their descriptions, the lack of additional data kept uncertainty about the nature of the objects. The report was sent to the Air Force Systems Command for analysis, but no definitive conclusion was reached.
