🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1964, in Middleboro, Massachusetts, four witnesses reported observing four unidentified aerial objects within an hour. The objects displayed different colors and paths, including a red one that temporarily disappeared behind a building. Although initial reports suggested three of the objects could be meteors, the fourth lacked sufficient data for a clear analysis. The witnesses, including an amateur astronomer, described details such as colors, duration, and movements, generating interest from military authorities.
The official Air Force evaluation concluded that three of the objects were likely meteors, while the fourth could not be classified due to insufficient data. Despite the witnesses ruling out conventional explanations like balloons, aircraft, or satellites, the investigation found no conclusive evidence of an unexplained phenomenon. The case highlights the complexity of UFO reports and the need for precise data for scientific evaluation.
