🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1964, a witness in Lansing, Michigan, reported a bright object in the sky moving rapidly toward the northwest. The object was observed for one minute and described as brighter than a star. Although initially considered a balloon or aircraft, the data was insufficient for a definitive evaluation. The report suggests it could be an astronomical phenomenon or even a UFO sighting.
The report notes that the sky was clear, with no clouds, and there were searchlights in the area. The object disappeared suddenly, as if someone had turned off a light. Despite its extreme speed, no conclusive data was recorded. The case was filed under the consideration that it could be a conventional aerial sighting, though the possibility of an unidentified phenomenon was not ruled out.
