🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1964, a family and three Air Force cadets observed a bright red object near Texarkana, Texas. While traveling at night, they noticed a strange glowing mass that appeared to move oddly. They stopped the car to watch it and accelerated to get closer, but the object vanished suddenly. Initially thought to be a weather balloon or a reflection from a fire, no clear evidence was found. The case was analyzed by Dr. J. Allen Hynek, who considered it could be a lunar observation. However, witnesses insisted it was not the moon and that the phenomenon was real.
The investigation included letters and detailed analysis, where possible astronomical and technical explanations were discussed. Despite the lack of physical evidence, the witnesses’ accounts align in describing the object and its unusual behavior. The case remains unresolved but contributes to the extensive UFO file involving military and civilian observers.
