🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A 38-year-old plumber and steamfitter observed two bright objects in the sky over Galveston, Indiana, on June 7, 1964. One remained stationary directly overhead while the second approached from the north. The second object circled the first in a counterclockwise maneuver before disappearing to the south. The first stayed visible for two hours while the second was seen for ten minutes. Although explanations like ECHO satellites or Apollo vehicles were considered, no conclusive answer was found. The report notes the second object appeared higher than any known aircraft and had no defined shape.
