🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In 1964, a witness in Bastrop, Texas, reported a bright green object rising from the horizon, performing aerial loops before disappearing behind trees. The observation lasted about 10 seconds, and the object was compared to a flare, though its movement was atypical. The Air Force requested more information, but the report was deemed insufficient for a conclusive evaluation.
Investigators suggested it could have been a balloon, a meteor, or even a misperception by the witness. Despite the detailed description, there was no physical evidence or radar confirmation, leaving the case unresolved. These kinds of reports, though common, rarely provide clear answers, but remain key pieces in the history of unidentified aerial phenomena.
