🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1964, two teenagers in Grand Ledge, Michigan, reported seeing a bright object blocking the road. They described it as a white light that stopped, dimmed, and vanished. The investigation concluded it was a reflection of their car's headlights on fog from a nearby puddle. The witnesses, frightened, didn't notice physical traces, but matched the shape of the tree gap. Investigators confirmed weather and geometry supported this explanation. Though other possibilities weren't ruled out, the fog theory explained all sighting details.
