🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1964, a civilian in Big Pine Key, Florida, spotted an aircraft that appeared larger than a DC-3. The object had two engines, a high wing, and no lights showing. It was estimated to be flying at around 60 feet. Although it might initially seem like an unexplained phenomenon, officials concluded it was a conventional aircraft. The report does not mention photographs or radar, and the witness did not report any strange lights or behavior.
The case was officially recorded by the U.S. Air Force and classified as a ground visual sighting. Despite the unusual appearance of the aircraft, investigators ruled out the possibility of an unidentified object. The report does not include the exact time of the sighting or its duration. However, the civilian's testimony was enough for authorities to consider it a normal aerial event.
