Summary

In June 1964, a civilian observer in Binghampton, New York, spotted three objects shaped like Christmas trees. These objects were descending from the clouds in a triangular formation and moving westward. One of them was moving faster than the others. The objects emitted a hummingbird-like sound and remained visible for one minute. The only known aircraft in the area was a KC-135 flying toward Griffiss AFB.

The observation was deemed insufficient for a clear evaluation. No photos were taken, and there were no radar data. The weather conditions were overcast, with clear skies and visibility of ten miles. Despite wind speed and direction data recorded at various altitudes, the nature of the objects could not be determined with certainty. The report concludes that there was insufficient data to evaluate the phenomenon.
