🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1964, a 14-year-old boy observed a mysterious object in the sky over Richmond, Missouri. While looking through a telescope, he noticed an object that suddenly stopped in the air without making any sound. He described it as the size of a B-29, disc-shaped, and remained stationary for half an hour before vanishing suddenly. The official report classified the sighting as unreliable, as the testimony arrived a year after the event. Despite the lack of physical evidence, the case was sent to Dr. Hynek for analysis.
The duration of the sighting was contradictory: the witness claimed it lasted 30 minutes, but the official form recorded only 3 minutes. This generated doubts about the accuracy of the information. The report also mentions that the object made no noise, ruling out the possibility of being a conventional helicopter or aircraft. Although the case was deemed unworthy of investigation due to its age, the detailed description and use of a telescope add an intriguing touch to this forgotten story.
