In July 1964, a witness in Washington DC reported a bright object with three lights moving erratically toward the southeast. The object, described as yellow with a touch of silver, made no sound and was estimated to be traveling at over 1,000 mph at an altitude above 200,000 feet. Its shape resembled the bottom of an iron.
