🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1964, military personnel at Langley AFB, Virginia, reported the sighting of multiple unidentified objects. Witnesses, including tower operators and radar controllers, described round, bright objects moving eastward at an extremely high altitude. The formation included four objects followed by two more, with minutes between each group. Their brilliance resembled burning magnesium, raising questions about their nature.
The observation lasted 20 minutes visually and 5 minutes on radar, but there were no physical traces or photographs. The official conclusion suggested possible missile or rocket activity from a NASA station, though it was not confirmed. The high altitude and specific formation of the objects left doubts about their origin, highlighting one of the many mysteries in UFO reports from that era.
