🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1964, two witnesses in Washington, Missouri, observed two flying objects moving in formation. The objects appeared near the southeast horizon and crossed the sky toward the southwest. They remained at the same distance apart throughout the flight, twinkled like stars, and at one point one seemed to disappear behind a star. The observation lasted between 3 and 5 minutes, with no sound emitted. Although initially thought to be stars, their unusual behavior drew attention. The report classifies the case as likely a conventional aerial phenomenon, but other explanations are not ruled out.
