UFO sighted in Lone Pine, California, 1964

Summary

In August 1964, an aerospace engineer and his son reported an unidentified object while hiking near the top of a mountain in California. The object appeared to be a jet airplane performing maneuvers, but its speed and movements were clearly beyond normal. It was estimated to be around 3000 feet high and was observed emitting a light beam on several occasions. The object seemed to have a reddish color and moved unpredictably, even returning to its original position. Later, two additional objects were observed at a considerable distance from the first, displaying similar movements.

The report was officially submitted to the military, but no clear explanation was provided. The witness, intrigued by the experience, requested an official response. This case, like many others, remains unsolved and continues as one of the UFO mysteries.
