🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1964, an astronomer in Dayton, Ohio, reported a bright object near the star Arcturus that remained fixed in the sky. The object emitted light similar to stars in the Big Dipper, but changed colors between blue, red, and yellow. Although it moved in an elliptical path northward, it was considered an optical illusion or an astronomical phenomenon. The report concluded the object was not a UFO, but likely a star or atmospheric effect.
The case was evaluated by the Air Force and classified as an unimportant observation, with no physical evidence or photographs to confirm it. However, the astronomer's testimony adds interest to this event, as it was observed for 45 minutes and displayed unusual characteristics for a conventional celestial body.
