🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1964, multiple witnesses in Jackson County, Missouri, reported the sighting of an unidentified flying object. The first account described a bright object with a descending trajectory, while another described it as a blue ball with a white trail. A third report mentioned an object resembling fireworks. Despite the differences in descriptions, investigators concluded it was likely a meteor. Weather data and clear night conditions supported this theory. The observation duration varied between two seconds and one minute, suggesting witnesses might have overestimated the event's length.
