🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A Brooklyn resident reported seeing a bright blue object streaking across the sky in 1964. He described it as a fast-moving point without a tail, resembling a satellite but much quicker. It appeared near Betelgeuse in Orion and vanished in 2-3 seconds. The report classified it as a meteor, though the witness ruled out comets, satellites, or balloons. The lack of physical evidence and the object's speed made it hard to confirm the identification.
