🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1964, an unidentified object resembling a satellite was observed near Tonga. The report, from military sources, describes an object seen from the ground at a 23-degree elevation. Although speed and magnitude were not reported, analysis ruled out the presence of satellites ECHO I and II in the area. The observation occurred under clear weather conditions with moderate swells.
The report was transmitted to several military and intelligence units, including NORAD and CINCPACFLT, for further analysis. Despite no photos or physical evidence being obtained, the description of the course and location suggests a serious observation. The object was moving in a southeast direction, raising interest about its possible satellite or unknown nature.
