🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In December 1964, an observer in Baker, Oregon, reported an unidentified object that remained visible for two hours. The phenomenon was observed from a mountain and also detected by radar, although the data did not allow for a clear correlation. Celestial bodies like Venus and Spica were mentioned in the sky, suggesting an astronomical explanation. However, the radar detected weak and blurry targets, raising doubts about whether they were false or sporadic noise. The official report concluded it was an astronomical phenomenon, but ambiguity remains.
