Summary

A man in Williamsburg, Virginia, observed a mysterious object about 70-80 feet tall, shaped like a mushroom or light bulb. The object, metallic gray with a red-orange glow on one side and blue on the other, hovered just four feet above the ground before vanishing rapidly to the west. The witness, whose car stalled, described a sound similar to a vacuum cleaner. A second witness, also with a stalled car, confirmed the object's presence. Despite investigations, including field searches and weather reviews, no physical evidence was found. The Air Force classified the case as unidentified.
