Red lights in Bolar Virginia

Summary

A 1965 report describes reddish or orange lights appearing in Bolar, Virginia. A civilian observed a round, glowing light moving close to the ground, disappearing and reappearing every 2-3 seconds. The next night, the light returned to the same location and was watched for at least 20 minutes. Additionally, large circular lights were seen moving in different directions, about 75 yards away. The area was in a valley surrounded by mountains. Although it was thought to be a flashlight or lantern, the possibility of hunters in the woods was also considered.
