🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In February 1965, several witnesses in Tallahassee, Florida, reported the sighting of an unidentified object. It was described as a round disc with a faint phosphorescent glow and a soft humming sound. The object was observed for a few minutes, moving rapidly eastward. Although initially thought to be conventional aerial activity, subsequent investigations found no conclusive evidence. Most witnesses were university students, raising suspicions that it might be a prank or a misunderstanding. However, there were also testimonies from an Eastern Airlines pilot and a Jacksonville tower operator, adding some credibility to the case. Ultimately, the lack of physical evidence and the inability to confirm the testimonies led to the investigation being closed without a clear conclusion.
