🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In February 1965, a civilian reported seeing a bright object in the sky that appeared suddenly and moved quickly through the constellation Cassiopeia before vanishing instantly. The object was described as silent, white in color, and brighter than any star. The observation lasted about two minutes, with the object moving rapidly and without any sound. The witness noted that the object passed through Cassiopeia and disappeared near the horizon.
The U.S. Air Force responded to the report, explaining that the object was likely a satellite, as no evidence of an unidentified phenomenon was found. They clarified that the submitted photographs were determined to be misinterpretations of natural or conventional objects. While the report did not confirm the presence of a UFO, the sighting added to the analysis of aerial observations from that time.
