In March 1965, a family in Dayton, Ohio, observed an unidentified object described as a sphere with five legs extending from the bottom. The object made no noise when hovering but produced sound as it passed overhead. Two witnesses confirmed the sighting: a son who initially thought it was a spotlight on clouds, and his mother, who later saw it making arcs across the sky.
