🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
An official at James Connally Air Force Base in Texas reported a UFO sighting. The incident occurred on the night of March 5, 1965, when Terry L. Thomas, an operations dispatcher, observed two white lights moving very fast in a flight pattern. The objects were at low altitude, around 1500 feet, and heading toward the control tower. The observation lasted about three seconds, and no physical evidence was found. The Air Force requested more information, but the data was insufficient for a conclusive evaluation.
The official report noted that conventional explanations, such as aircraft or balloons, could not be ruled out. However, the flight pattern and speed were unusual. Although the officer did not report physical effects or interactions, the case was filed without a clear resolution. This document is an example of how the Air Force recorded UFO reports in the 1960s, prioritizing objective data and dismissing hypotheses without solid evidence.
