🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March 1965, an observer reported a bright object as luminous as the star Vega, moving rapidly from left to right across the sky. The sighting occurred at a low altitude, about 15 degrees above the horizon, and lasted approximately five minutes. The object had a blue-green appearance and was not identified as a known satellite. Due to its speed and trajectory, researchers considered it possibly linked to the ECHO II satellite, though no confirmation was made.
The exact location of the sighting was in the Atlantic, near the coordinates 36°N 29°W. The report includes position and direction calculations, but no physical evidence was found. Despite ruling out conventional explanations, the case remains unresolved, adding another mystery to the files of unidentified aerial phenomena from that era.
