In March 1965, a USAID civilian employee and a Japanese diplomat in Rangoon witnessed an unusual aerial event. They first saw a bright flash in the sky, followed by two or three more flashes. Then a large flash appeared, lasting between five to ten seconds, which brightly illuminated everything around them. After the flash, everything went momentarily dark before a bright white streak was observed from the NNW direction. The entire event likely lasted no more than ten to fifteen seconds. The witnesses initially thought it might be an exploding satellite, but the object's behavior didn't match typical expectations. The detailed description and consistent testimony suggest an event without a conventional explanation.
