🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1965, a witness in Coden, Alabama reported an object crossing the sky at high speed. The observer, a conservation officer, described a blue-white light with no tail or sound, covering about 75% of the sky in seconds. Despite the detailed report, investigators concluded the data was insufficient for a definitive evaluation. The object did not clearly resemble a satellite, aircraft, or bird, creating confusion. The witness also mentioned seeing similar satellites on previous days, complicating identification.
The report was reviewed by the Air Force, which requested more information, but the case was ultimately classified as "insufficient data." The testimony included a curious suggestion: using UFO uncertainty for defense strategies. Although the report did not yield a clear conclusion, it reflected the era's concern over unidentified aerial phenomena and the need for more precise data to solve the mystery.
