🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1965, several witnesses in Madison, Tennessee, reported sightings of unidentified aerial objects. The testimonies mention a round, silver-blue object moving in a straight line for about 15 seconds before disappearing behind trees. Other accounts describe reddish objects in level flight toward the east. Although additional observations were made in the following days, no positive results were obtained. The official report concluded that the observed objects were conventional interpretations, possibly satellites or aircraft, although some details did not align with this evaluation.
The official investigation requested more information from the witnesses, including two children who observed the objects, but no response was received. The officer in charge, Captain Robert E. Poover, considered the most likely explanation to be satellites, although he admitted that the description and direction did not fully match this theory. Ultimately, it was concluded that the observed objects were misinterpretations or imaginations of conventional objects.
