🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A civilian witness described a bright object seen in Washington DC in 1965. The report mentions that the object was observed for 3-4 seconds and was moving eastward. Two observers gave slightly different descriptions: one described it as a round, blurry object the size of a nickel, while the other described it as yellow, brighter than the moon, the size of a quarter. One estimated it was several miles high, while the other thought it was between 500 and 1000 feet. The object did not leave a visible trail and its speed was compared to that of a meteor. No photos were taken and no physical evidence was found.
