🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1965, a civilian in Marysville, Washington, reported a flying wing-like object that appeared cold and luminous gray. While watching for the ECHO satellite, the observer saw the object moving from south to north at 70 degrees above the horizon. The object disappeared at 45 degrees due to vegetation obstruction. The sighting lasted one minute and was officially recorded by air authorities.
The official conclusion stated that the object could be an aircraft, as no data ruled it out. Despite the report considering the possibility of a conventional aerial phenomenon, neither air traffic control nor air defense sectors could correlate the sighting with known air traffic or radar blips. The witnesses, a 51-year-old man and his 47-year-old wife, were deemed reliable, and weather conditions were ideal for observation. No physical evidence or photographs were found, but the report noted that there were no other testimonies or reports related to the incident.
