🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A witness in Mobile, Alabama, reported a luminous object crossing the sky on June 11, 1965. The object, described as a streak of orange, red, and blue, moved horizontally at about 45 degrees elevation toward the west. The observation lasted only five seconds, and the object burned out at the end. Despite the brief encounter, the colors and trajectory caught the witness's attention.
The official conclusion of the report was that the phenomenon was astronomical, specifically a meteor. There was no physical evidence or photographs to support the sighting, but the description matched typical characteristics of a bright meteor. This case, though short-lived, shows how even brief sightings can be recorded and analyzed by authorities.
