In June 1965, multiple witnesses in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, reported seeing an unidentified object accompanied by smaller ones. One observer described a large silver or white object surrounded by five or six smaller ones, which remained stationary for several minutes. Another witness mentioned a bright sphere with particles moving around it like bees, visible for 20 minutes before disappearing with the darkness. A third report indicated the main object moved west and then south, hovering in the sky. Although initially considered a possible balloon with attachments, the testimonies agreed that the objects showed no movement and remained stable for a long time. Observers used direct vision and in some cases binoculars, but no photographs or physical evidence were taken.
