🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A civilian in Independence, Missouri, reported a UFO in July 1965. The witness described a white, round object the size of a half-dollar coin moving in a zigzag pattern toward the east. The observation lasted one minute and no sound was heard. Although initially considered a satellite, the description didn't match known satellites of the time. The official report classified it as the Echo I satellite, but the witness insisted it didn't behave like one.
The object was seen by several members of the witness's family, adding credibility to the account. Weather conditions were ideal for observation: clear skies, no clouds, and calm winds. Despite the detailed description, investigators couldn't determine a specific cause for the sighting. The report concluded that no further analysis could be made with the available information, but suggested it might be linked to another sighting reported in the local press. The case remains an unsolved mystery.
