🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
Two boys, aged 11 and 13, observed a luminous object in the early morning of July 13, 1965, in Blauvelt, New York. Initially, they thought it was reflected moonlight, but soon noticed it was moving. The object had a whitish, metallic sheen with a bluish spot in the center and moved in different directions. They watched it for about an hour, hovering over nearby houses on a foggy night. At around 5 AM, the object faded away. The boys then decided to tell their parents. The moon was in a position to reflect light, and the report concluded it could be an astronomical phenomenon, though the possibility of a UFO was not entirely ruled out.
