🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1965, a witness in Crystal Lake, Ohio, reported seeing an unusual luminous object. The object appeared as a bright white ball, brighter than any star. It moved erratically, sometimes fast and sometimes slow, and exhibited changes in brightness, flashing and flickering. The observer watched it for about two and a half minutes and tried to estimate its distance, but couldn't do so with certainty. The object moved from east to south and eventually disappeared behind trees. The Air Force concluded it could have been an optical illusion or a misinterpretation by the observer, but the account describes a strange and hard-to-explain phenomenon.
