🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In 1965, high-ranking officers at Lincoln AFB, Nebraska, reported observing two unidentified flying objects. Both appeared as white points of light near the star Polaris, repeatedly dimming and brightening. The observers, including a colonel and a lieutenant colonel, described straight trajectories and speeds exceeding those of a known satellite. Initially, the possibility of tumbling rocket debris in orbit was considered, but no conclusive identification was made.
The report details favorable weather conditions and direct visual observation. One of the objects disappeared minutes before the arrival of a known satellite, raising questions about its nature. Despite the detailed account, the exact cause of the phenomena remains unknown.
