🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1965, a witness in Gales Ferry, Connecticut, reported an object that he initially thought was a shooting star. However, noticing that the object continued to reflect light and did not dissipate, he changed his mind. The object rose from 45 to 70 degrees above the horizon, traveling from east to west. The observer described it as longer than wide, comparing it to satellites he had seen before, but this one appeared larger. The report was sent to the witness to complete and return, but no physical or photographic evidence was obtained. The official conclusion was that there was insufficient data to evaluate the case.
