🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1965, an observer in Texas noticed a bright object moving slowly across the sky. The object, described as resembling a star, was seen for at least half an hour and followed a straight course toward the east. Although the observer and his wife were attentive, the object gradually disappeared from the horizon. The weather conditions were clear and cloudless, making identification difficult. The official report suggests it could have been a high-altitude cross-country flight, but no confirmation was achieved.
The report details that the object showed no signs of being a weather balloon or a conventional aircraft. Although specific weather conditions were recorded, there was no physical evidence or photographs to support the observation. The officer in charge considered the informant reliable, but the data provided were sparse and vague. Despite the duration of the observation, the phenomenon could not be identified with certainty, leaving open the possibility of an unexplained event.
