🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A report from 1965 describes an unidentified object seen near O'Hare International Airport in Chicago. The observer, a member of the United States Air Force, noticed the object on the night of December 26. The report details that the object displayed unusual angular motion, faster than a typical meteorite, but without leaving a visible trail. The observer could not identify the object with certainty, though he suggested it might have been the "ICHO" satellite. Despite the lack of physical or photographic evidence, the report highlights the credibility of the witness.
The report includes weather data, the exact location of the observer, and a detailed description of how the object disappeared from view. Although no sounds or additional optical signals were recorded, the officer in charge of the report considered the observer reliable. This case remains a mystery without a clear explanation, adding another chapter to the history of UFO sightings in Illinois.
