🇪🇸 Ejército del Aire
In November and December 1968, several unexplained aerial phenomena were reported in Puente Almuhey, a small town in León, Spain. Testimonies collected by the Spanish Air Force describe luminous objects with varying shapes and colors, observed for periods ranging from 10 minutes to two hours. One notable incident occurred on November 24, when two witnesses saw a reddish, disc-shaped object that disassembled and reassembled. Other sightings, such as those on December 8 and 10, reported white or yellowish lights with slow movement and no noise. Despite discrepancies in the descriptions, investigators concluded there was no clear explanation based on known atmospheric or astronomical phenomena. The file, initially classified, was declassified decades later, leaving more questions than answers about what happened in that rural area of Spain.
