🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A civilian in Dayton, Ohio, observed a bright object in the sky on July 4, 1965. The object, moving in a jerky manner toward the east, was identified as the ECHO 1 satellite. The observation lasted 15 minutes, and the witness described the object as brighter than stars, silent, and white in color. Although initially considered a possible UFO, the official conclusion pointed to a known satellite. This case is part of a series of unexplained aerial sightings in the 1960s, where observations often defied conventional explanations.
