🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1965, multiple witnesses at Ent Air Force Base, Colorado, reported the sighting of unidentified flying objects. Two bright objects with a silvery glow were seen by a group of four people, including military and civilian personnel. The objects moved closer together, disappeared rapidly, and reappeared an hour later, observed for a few minutes. Initially thought to be stars like Arcturus or Antares, the evaluation concluded they were not known celestial bodies. The air base contacted various agencies to rule out other possibilities, but no conventional explanation was found.
The observation was clear and consistent among witnesses, who described unusual and sudden movements. Although satellites or atmospheric phenomena were considered, no confirmation of these theories emerged. The official report classified the case as unresolved, highlighting the inability to identify the objects based on available data. This document reflects the uncertainty surrounding UFO sightings at the time, with a rigorous but limited methodology due to the technology of the era.
