🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1965, two witnesses in Idaho Falls, Idaho, reported an unusual aerial phenomenon. They observed three bright objects in a triangular formation, moving at a considerable altitude and speed. The objects maintained equal distance from each other, with one appearing longer than the others. The report was submitted by a retired Air Force major, who claimed no prior knowledge of UFO sightings. The detailed description and precise location of the event drew attention from military authorities.
The official investigation concluded the objects could have been bolides, but no physical evidence was found. The report was delayed due to the need for additional data, including a letter from the witness. Despite the lack of tangible proof, the coherent description and exact location of the sighting generated interest among officials. The final report was signed by an intelligence officer, who noted the witness's credibility. This case remains one of many in UFO history without a definitive explanation.
